The USDA and the State Board of Education Nutrition Department announced yesterday that students will now be eating school breakfast and lunches free of charge. This is for all students who eat a breakfast or lunch prepared by the school. The dates for this free meal program will be September 1st until December 31st of 2020. After December meal charges will return to their original prices.
If anyone has paid for September meals, those amounts will be credited to your account and will be used for the meals in January. If you would prefer a refund for the meals from September 1st and beyond, please contact the school office.
The lunch bill you receive today is accurate through August 31st. If there is an amount due, that is an amount that is still owed.
