bread

Our Family and Consumer Science (FCS) classroom is ready to get cooking, but we need your help! Some of our kitchen needs are simple essentials, while others are small electric appliances. Anything you can contribute — even gently used items — will make a big difference.

Electric appliances we could use:

  • Toaster

  • Hot plate

  • Toaster oven

  • Air fryer

Everyday kitchen tools and utensils:

  • Mixing bowls

  • Mixing spoons and spatulas (including a slotted spatula)

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Stove-top pots

  • Silverware

  • Whisks

  • Cookie sheets (to fit a toaster oven, or ones that can be transported to the kitchen)

  • Baking pan with lid

  • Brown paper bags

Special ingredients for a homemade bread project:

  • Flour

  • Quick rising yeast

  • Salt

  • Butter

  • Eggs

  • Sugar

With your help, students will not only practice cooking basics but also have the opportunity to make homemade bread from start to finish! Donations can be dropped off at the school office during regular hours, or monetary contributions are welcome to help purchase needed items.

Thank you for supporting hands-on learning and helping our students gain skills they’ll use for a lifetime!
