Selmaville students were treated to an exciting and motivational assembly as the GO BIG BMX Air Show visited the school gym. The talented BMX riders wowed the crowd with impressive bike tricks and demonstrations while sharing powerful life lessons about perseverance, setting goals, and believing in yourself.

Throughout the presentation, the riders encouraged students to work hard, overcome challenges, and never give up when working toward their goals. Their message comes at a perfect time as Selmaville students prepare for IAR state testing, which will take place March 17–19.

The assembly served as a great reminder that success—whether performing BMX tricks or completing a test—comes from preparation, focus, and determination.

Families can support students during testing by helping them get a good night’s rest, eating a healthy breakfast, and making sure they arrive at school ready to learn each day of testing.

We appreciate the GO BIG BMX team for providing an engaging and inspiring experience that encouraged our students to believe in themselves and give their very best effort.
