Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Selmaville Community Consolidated School District No. 10 will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 6:05 p.m. in the band room at Selmaville School, 3185 Selmaville Road, Salem, Illinois.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment concerning the District’s proposed renewal of its E-Learning Program. The program would allow the District to use approved E-Learning Days in place of scheduled emergency days, in accordance with Section 10-20.56 of the Illinois School Code.
During the hearing, the District will substantially present the terms of the proposed E-Learning Program, and members of the public will be given an opportunity to provide comments.
Following the public hearing, the Board of Education will consider approval of the renewed E-Learning Program for a three-school-year term. The program will also be submitted to Regional Office of Education No. 13 for verification before implementation.
