Message from Mr Lund
-Another great week of work for students and staff. Thank you all that participated in the PTO fundraiser. I especially would like to give a “blast-off” shout out to our top three sellers: Jason, Brynn and Greyson. Check out their great picture on our PTO Facebook Page. Great job everyone! Thank you so much for supporting the Rockets and our amazing PTO organization.
As our Fall Sports are coming to a close, we have some upcoming regional games for Softball and Baseball. I am inviting you to come out to watch our amazing student athletes. We have had record breaking student athletes this year and the crowds at the games have been impressive. Please come out and support our teams as they participate in playoffs and let’s hope they zoom into the next round of competitions.
Just as a reminder we are completing all of our school mandated drills this year and want to thank the students for doing an amazing job practicing on how to be safe in our building. We still need to complete another round of Fire Drills, Lockdown Procedures, and an Earthquake Drill. These drills will be completed soon as to meet the requirements from the Illinois State Board of Education and the State of Illinois.
Our Midterm grade reports will be going out on Monday Sept. 19th. Please review them with your student(s) and return them to the teacher with your signature. The Midterm reports will allow for conversation on how your student(s) are doing within the first few weeks of school and provide some feedback. In addition, it allows us to celebrate the work the students and teachers are doing to make sure we are all on track for a successful semester.
