This weekend Selmaville School will hold their annual 3rd and 4th grade PeeWee Tournament! To ensure the safety and orderly environment at all our home sporting events, so that ALL fans can enjoy the games, Selmaville School District is asking parents to please help us in our effort by reviewing these expectations with their students before they attend a game: - Students 6th grade and below must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or an adult over 25. - All students must be seated during the game. Students are encouraged to sit in the stands and cheer for their team. - Concessions are available at all sporting events. Students may go to the concession stand during half time and between games. - Students removed for misconduct will be banned from future games. - Always exhibit good sportmanship: Be respectful during the National Anthem, school songs, and player introductions, Never boo or yell at officials or opposing players, Cheer for our Rocket players, Represent Selmaville School in a positive manner, be respectful of other students and adults attending the game, take care of our school, throw your trash away and help keep our facilities clean.

Kindergarten had two special visits this week. The fire department came to talk to the students and show their fire trucks. The other visit was from Salem Township Hospital to talk about germs.

This is a friendly reminder that Friday, October 11th, is an 11:30 student dismissal day. There will be no school on Monday, October 14th in honor of Columbus Day. School will resume on Tuesday, October 15th. Beginning Tuesday, October 15th, doors by the elementary entrance will be closed at 8:00 AM. Students who arrive after 8:10 AM will need to be dropped off at the junior high entrance and given a tardy slip by the main office. We appreciate your understanding on the importance of arriving to school on time and hope each of you have a wonderful three-day weekend.
